The Climate Change Centre Reading LinkedIn notice board has been fairly successful. It was good that we managed to extend the Climate Change consultation, but we do not yet know how many more businesses will be / want to be engaged with the process? We will find out, since we are determined to ensure that Reading’s climate change strategy provides the basis for real improvement in making our business environment greener,cleaner and more sustainable. We will keep you updated with results and developments until the Reading Climate Change Partnership has evaluated the consultation. We hope that e still have your support, and you are welcome to meet with us if you are interested in becoming a supporting partner.

How can Reading find its identity and solution to meet future climate change challenges locally? Let us know what we can do to improve Reading’s climate goals and targets to develop the Climate Change programme to become a leader in the U.K. driving Readings bid for the 2018 European Green Capital Award.

Did you know you that for every energy saving you adapt to, part of the contribution goes to support your local Climate Change Centre Reading, where it is possible to monitor Thames Valley Berkshires actions towards becoming a zero CO2 zone.

Looking to unlock Reading’s green potential – Driving a bid for a monthly Car-Free Day in Reading to cut emissions and honor a successful climate change agreement taking place in Paris December 2015.

To achieve this, we are looking for premises to set up an info centre, a learning Climate Change Centre 201320* providing monthly seminars and meetings somewhere in Reading Town Centre. Our next priority is to raise the required funding for this cause.
