Mission statement “Tipping point”

End of the 13th Baktun: end of an old era and the heralding of a new one. Mayabe it´s time to end this down-going spiral to deliver a sustainable future

The End of the Mayan calendar marked the start of the man-made tipping point for runaway climate change. 21 Dec 2012 is a date never 2b forgotten in the history books.
It can very well be the case that our depraving lifestyle living based on religious authority, state power, national greed, and focused on constant growth, has finally taken us to a Point of No Return. Beyond the point of no return, it´s all about damage control. We must implement 100% climate change sustainability in everything we do globally, regionally and locally .

Climate Change’s Biggest Threats Are Those We Aren’t Ready For

“Giving shale gas hydraulic fracturing the green light could very much be the final nail in the coffin”. The risking of water supply has come to be viewed as the most serious resource constraint of the 21st century – a “new oil” bound to define opportunity and conflict for generations. How can you prepare for these battles ahead!

While everyone is busy predicting the horrific future, Climate Change Centre Reading has a solving concept that would minimize human impact on the planet.

“How 2 STOP all the effects of what human counterproductive activities have done to climate change the last 160 years?”~Climate Change Centre Reading

The logic step is to deal with, accept and agree on that we have passed the tipping point… the sooner, the better! Go Sustainable now !

  1. Comment:
“CCCRdg, with all due respect, what you consider to be a logical step, others would consider to be all but impossible, and they would be right.

Countries can’t even agree on who pays what amount as compensation for countries most effected by CC as adaptation measures. They certainly won’t all suddenly agree on stopping all counterproductive activities.

What your talking about would bring all industrial activities to a halt, sending the world into a crisis far beyond what it had ever experienced. Power generation would be cut by 80%, food production would cease on a large scale, starvation and riots would wreak havoc in all countries. What you request is far more complex than simply stating the position and affirming it needs to be agreed upon.
When has the world ever agreed on any issue let alone one as complex and deeply embedded in modern society as the current counterproductive activities CCCRdg speak of”

  2. Hello, the very point is that we have passed the tipping point… consumption has finally taken us to a Point of No Return. Beyond the point of no return, it´s all about damage control – The Titanic Syndrome – Why was the Titanic disaster an extinction? Mayabe, if we do as we should.. ..need 2 STOP all counterproductive activities now! /CCCRdg

  3. George Carlin said it best: “The planet has been through a lot worse than us. Been through all kinds of things worse than us. Been through earthquakes, volcanoes, plate tectonics, continental drift, solar flares, sun spots, magnetic storms, the magnetic reversal of the poles…hundreds of thousands of years of bombardment by comets and asteroids and meteors, worlwide floods, tidal waves, worldwide fires, erosion, cosmic rays, recurring ice ages…And we think some plastic bags, and some aluminum cans are going to make a difference? The planet…the planet…the planet isn’t going anywhere. WE ARE!
We’re going away. Pack your shit, folks. We’re going away. And we won’t leave much of a trace, either. Thank God for that. Maybe a little styrofoam. Maybe. A little styrofoam. The planet’ll be here and we’ll be long gone. Just another failed mutation. Just another closed-end biological mistake. An evolutionary cul-de-sac. The planet’ll shake us off like a bad case of fleas. A surface nuisance.”
